Sonia: Hindus, Muslims don’t fight, others make them do so
Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Saturday came down heavily on Prime Minister Narednra Modi for his recent comment on Dadri beef lynching incident. “You (Modi) have asked Hindus and Muslims to fight poverty, not each other. You should know that Hindus and Muslims do not fight unless others make them fight,” Sonia said while addressing an election meeting at Jalalpur market, around 30 km from here, on Saturday.Accusing Modi government of trying to impose its ideology on the people, Sonia said communal frenzy is being created, innocents are killed on rumours and intellectuals are targeted which is threatening the democratic and social fabric of the country.
