How to train for working in space

You're in space, trapped in a module designed for two people for a 26-hour period. But there's three of you. And you'll be trapped for 96 hours. Eventually, the carbon dioxide you exhale will kill you all.

That's what happened on the failed Apollo 13 Moon landing -- and it's also a great way to get kids excited, or terrified, about working in space.

"This is a low-rent version of surviving in space," Dan Plane, an explainer and developer from London's Science Museum tells WIRED. Working with Sam Furniss, a punk science developer at the museum, he's showing kids that working in space is all about problem solving.
