Dr. Marty Makary: Public Health Officials Got The Keys To The Kingdom And Refused To Give Them Back

Fox News medical contributor Dr. Marty Makary joins Fox Across America With guest host Paul Gleiser to share his thoughts on some of the lasting negative effects COVID-19 related restrictions  have had on the U.S. population.

“People don’t just die from viral transmission. They die from poverty. They die from hopelessness. They die from substance abuse. And they die from having their livelihoods ripped out from under them after they’ve worked so hard to build a business, to serve as a soldier in the military, to build a career as a teacher, to work as a nurse, to go to school where you may get your school lunches and that is the primary form of nutrition for a large fraction of the population. When you rip all of that out, not for a week or two until we figure things out or until the hospitals can decompress in New York, but for three plus years, I mean, for the love of humanity. My own university, Johns Hopkins, will not allow a kid to go to a summer program unless they’ve been boosted. Now, that data is two years outdated, that a booster reduces transmission. So they are holding on with a tight grip. And that, in my opinion, is what is unforgivable. That is intellectually dishonest.”
