I’ve been pretty blessed over the last few years. I’ve been fortunate enough to cover the Inland Lakes Bulldogs, who made it to the Superior Dome to play in an 8-player state championship game in 2023 and nearly went back before bowing out in the state semifinals to Pickford in 2024. I also got to watch Pickford face Deckerville in a classic state title game. But this season ended quicker than I thought it would, as the Bulldogs were beaten by Pickford in the first round of the playoffs last week.
