Amid regular health updates, stars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were seen arriving at the hospital. Dharmendra was taken to the hospital a few days back after he complained of breathlessness. Since then, his family members and close friends have been visiting him to be familiar with his health updates. Sunny Deol, Hema Malini, Ameesha Patel were also seen arriving at the hospital.

Dharmendra's wife, actor-politician, Hema Malini was quick to share an update on his health on social media. Her X post read, "I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored, and we are all with him. (folded hand emoji) I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery."

The 89-year-old actor's team had earlier confirmed to India Today that while he was admitted to the hospital, he remained stable. "Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family's right to privacy," statement from his team read. Earlier during the day, the actor's team had put out another statement to mention that there was nothing to worry about. "They requested privacy at this time. He's under observation, but there's nothing to worry about," the team had mentioned.
Why was Dharmendra hospitalised in October?
Earlier in October 2025, Dharmendra was hospitalised for a routine medical check-up. "He undergoes a series of tests periodically given his age, and is in the hospital for the same. Someone may have spotted him and created a news piece. He is absolutely fine and there's nothing to be worried about," the team was quoted as saying by India Today.
