0

ArmInfo.  Supporters of Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, head of the Shirak Diocese of the  Armenian Apostolic Church, gathered in front of the Izmirlian Medical  Center to congratulate the cleric on his birthday. He turns 62 today.

The head of the Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church,  sentenced to two years in prison for allegedly "public calls to seize  power," underwent surgery the day before. His brother is currently  caring for him.

The Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church also issued a  congratulatory message on the occasion. "Bishop Mikael is one of the  devoted clergy of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, whose entire  life and work were founded on truth, justice, and sincere service. He  is a spiritual father who, through his personal example and moral  nobility, guided thousands of believing children, raising them in  Christian values and the national spirit.

For many years, the Bishop remained faithful to his spiritual vows.  His sermons resounded everywhere. He was always among the people,  participating in their daily lives, listening to their concerns, and  strengthening their faith. Archbishop Mikael's spiritual path is  distinguished by unwavering fidelity: he never betrayed the truth,  even when it required courage and self-sacrifice. His spiritual  guidance combines both the gentleness of a kind father and the  sternness of a just judge.

The Bishop's beloved flock sees him not only as a spiritual leader,  but also as a caring Father and trusted confidant. "Teacher. His  integrity, ability to share people's concerns, and personal devotion  made him a beloved leader of the people.

The clergy, staff, and all the faithful of the Shirak Diocese  congratulate you," the diocese's congratulatory message reads.

We invoke the mercy of the Almighty Father to preserve your health  and fortitude, especially in these days of unjust condemnation, which  you endure for the sake of truth and love for your homeland. May  justice soon prevail, and we will see you in the Shirak Diocese,  beloved by us all," the diocese's congratulatory message reads.
