Results From Nottingham Main Card of Murtazaliev-Kelly

IBF female lightweight champion Elif Nur Turhan of Turkiye, had to work extra hard to turn back the stiff challenge of Australian Taylah Gentzen over ten tough-to-call rounds. While Gentzen had her moments, Nur Turhan did a bit more down the stretch, to pull out a split decision by scores of 96-94, 98-92 and 93-97 (for Gentzen) to retain her title and improve to 13-0, 8 KOs. Gentzen falls to 8-2, 3 KOs.

Opening up the DAZN portion of the show, heavyweight prospect Leo Atang pounded his Moroccan-born, Belgium-residing Amine Boucetta into submission at :39 of the third round. This marked the farthest Atang has had to go in first four pro outings, now 4-0, 4 KOs. Body work proved critical in this win, as Boucetta’s ample midsection couldn’t withstand the beating. Boucetta falls to 9-18.
