Need for construction of biological treatment facilities being  discussed in Armenia

ArmInfo.  A regular meeting of the interdepartmental working group, established by decision of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to develop a strategy for water sector development, address identified problems in the sector, and develop a corresponding action plan, was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan.


According to the government press service, the need for construction of biological treatment facilities in the country using advanced and innovative technologies was discussed during the meeting.


The implementation of the programs was discussed in detail, in particular, the planned work to improve water resource management and wastewater treatment systems.

Summing up the meeting, Tigran Khachatryan issued relevant instructions to the responsible agencies.
