Michigan State put the final touch on its 2026 recruiting class with the signing of Detroit Catholic Central wide receiver Samson Gash on Wednesday. National Signing Day has increasingly taken a back seat to December’s early signing period, but Gash’s signing is one of the most significant developments of head coach Pat Fitzgerald’s young tenure in East Lansing. Gash gave his verbal commitment to Jonathan Smith’s staff in late June. During the fall, he took an official visit to Alabama.
