Alabama softball’s fast start to the 2026 season is already paying dividends in national rankings. After opening the season with a 5-0 showing at the Buzz Classic in Atlanta, Alabama jumped three spots to No. 13 in the Week 1 USA Softball Top 25 Poll, released Tuesday, Feb. 10. The Crimson Tide was one of 11 Southeastern Conference programs ranked in the poll. Alabama also made notable jumps in other major national polls.
