ArmInfo.According to Armenian law and the Constitution, individuals who hold citizenship of a second country, and in this case, a third country, are ineligible to be candidates for parliament or run for the position of prime minister in Armenia. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement when speaking to reporters on February 13, in response to the nomination of Samvel Karapetyan as a candidate for Prime Minister by the "Strong Armenia" party.
"This is not possible either de jure or de facto. Therefore, there is no reason to even comment on it," Pashinyan noted.
