Bid to smuggle Rs 2.36cr worth cigarettes foiled

The commissionerate of customs, Goa, on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, foiled an attempt to smuggle 350 cartons of foreign cigarettes, valued at Rs 2.36 crore, at Mormugao Port Trust.
