Azerbaijan’s SOFAZ strengthens portfolio with gold and real estate

As of January 1, 2026, SOFAZ’s investment portfolio grew by 22.5% to $73.5 billion, with a significant shift towards gold, which now represents 38.2% of the portfolio, while bond and money market instruments saw a notable decline.
