EU Allocates $44Mln to South Sudan Amid Worsening Humanitarian Situation

The European Commission has allocated some 40 million euros (some $44 million) in emergency assistance to South Sudan as the humanitarian situation in the country continues to worsen, the institution said in a press release Thursday.
