Aston Villa FPL winners and losers from Gameweek 12: Morgan Rogers makes his case
The Premier League has returned the November international break and Aston Villa FPL players without one particular player might have encountered a difficult week in the rankings.
Villa beat Leeds United but Fantasy Premier League players with Villa selections but no Morgan Rogers didn’t get much of a return from the boys in claret and blue in the latest gameweek.
Let’s check in with last week’s scores in the Premier League’s official FPL game.
Top Aston Villa FPL scorers in GW12
Villa’s win at Leeds wasn’t a one-man show but Rogers racked up an impressive 15 points for the 7.2% of FPL players who selected him. Only Ezri Konsa is more popular.
Rogers scored two goals and made eight defensive contributions. He claimed three bonus points for good measure.
Four Villa players banked four points. Pau Torres, Donyell Malen, Boubacar Kamara and Ross Barkley were all selected in fewer than one in ten FPL teams in GW12.
Emiliano Martínez was the only other Villa player with more than two points against Leeds. He was in 3.4% of teams and is behind the top Villa scorers for the season overall, Rogers (50 points) and Matty Cash (54).

AVF FPL update GW12
There’s no change in the top four of our FPL league. Gary James is in first place having passed the 800-point mark, with Warren Torch in second and Abdelrhman Gooda in third.
A bumper haul of 69 points topped the GW12 rankings for Steven Osborne and Spencer Bakewell, and 66 points took M10 8 into the top five.
Steven benefited from Rogers in midfield, Spencer from Eberechi Eze, and both shared the key trio of Daniel Muñoz (Crystal Palace, 14 points), Enzo Fernández (Chelsea, 11 points) and Declan Rice (six points).
With 24 points apiece, Lucy Smith dropped to last place and John Mortimer is six points ahead. Debbie Mortimer and Lee Moloney were the big movers in the bottom half.
