Giants place standout LB Blake Martinez on COVID-19 list

New York Giants star linebacker Blake Martinez was placed on the COVID-19 list, the team announced Tuesday.

Martinez recorded 151 tackles last season -- ranking third in the NFL -- in his first campaign with the Giants.

Safety Joshua Kalu also was placed on the COVID list and rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney was removed.
