Lille beat PSG to win French Super Cup

JERUSALEM, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- French champions Lille won the Trophee des Champions, or French Super Cup, for the first time after beating French Cup winners Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 on Sunday evening in Israel.

In front of 29,000 spectators at Bloomfield Stadium in the coastal city of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Lille scored the winning goal in the 45th minute through Portuguese midfielder Xeka's long-range effort.
