Sweden's Sagstrom leads first round of Tokyo Olympic women's golf

TOKYO , Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- The Olympic women's individual golf tournament kicked off at Kasumigaseki Country Club on Wednesday as Sweden's Madelene Sagstrom led the leaderboard with 5-under-par 66 in the first round.

"I was striking the ball all right. I like long courses in general and it fits my game really well," said Sagstrom at the press conference after first round.
