Edmonton debuts Elks moniker vs. Redblacks

Edmonton has a new name and a new coach as it opens the CFL season at home on Saturday against the Ottawa Redblacks.

The Edmonton franchise is now known as Elks after dropping Eskimos, its name since 1949, due to the latter term being regarded as derogatory toward Inuit people.
