Andrea Petkovic wins first WTA trophy in over six years against Mayar Sherif

Second seed Andrea Petkovic of Germany hoisted a WTA singles championship trophy for the first time in more than six years as she defeated Mayar Sherif of Egypt, 6-1, 6-1, to triumph at the inaugural Winners Open in Cluj-Napoca in Romania on Sunday.
