Viera bids farewell to Beijing Guoan

BEIJING, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- Beijing Guoan announced on Monday that another foreign player, Jonathan Viera, known as the "Green Elf", will officially bid farewell to the club.

The Spaniard has played for the team for three and a half years, making 88 appearances, scoring 30 goals and 30 assists.

Viera won the FA Cup and had the best record in the AFC Champions League in the club history.
