Phillies 1B Rhys Hoskins (abdomen tear) out for season
Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins is out for the rest of the season with an abdomen tear, an injury that will require surgery as early as next week.
Hoskins has been playing with the injury all season and was expected to have surgery for it in the offseason. He was also dealing with a left groin injury that landed him on the IL earlier this month. As the groin injury got better, the abdomen pain worsened.
