Delhi-based umpire Sumit Bansal passes away at 46

New Delhi [India], October 10 (ANI): Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) umpire Sumit Bansal passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest on Sunday.

According to a report in ESPNcricinfo, Sumit Bansal who was a Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) affiliated umpire died in a hospital in New Delhi at the age of 46.

DDCA on Sunday mourned the demise of Sumit Bansal.
