Cuban boxers shine at AIBA world championships

BELGRADE, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Cuban boxers claimed three gold medals from the AIBA Men's World Boxing Championships in Belgrade, which concluded here on Saturday evening.

For Cuba, Andy Cruz Gomez won the Light Welterweight (63.5kg), 24-year-old Yoenlis Hernandez triumphed in middleweight (75kg) on his international debut, while Julio La Cruz took gold in under-92kg.

Kazakhstan also bagged two gold medals
