Wizards add president title to GM Tommy Sheppard

Washington Wizards general manager Tommy Sheppard was promoted to president and GM on Wednesday.

Sheppard is in his 19th season with the Wizards and has been the general manager since 2019.

Chief planning and operations officer Sashi Brown also was promoted to president of Monumental Basketball and special advisor to Monumental Sports Entertainment chief executive officer Ted Leonsis.
