Avalanche coach Jared Bednar signs two-year extension

As Jared Bednar gets ready to set the Colorado Avalanche record for coaching victories, the organization decided to start the party a bit early.

Bednar signed a two-year contract extension Friday that will keep him with Colorado through the 2023-24 season. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
