Reports: Texans cutting RB Phillip Lindsay

Multiple reports Tuesday said the Houston Texans are releasing running back Phillip Lindsay, who will head to the waiver wire.

Lindsay, 27, signed a one-year, $3.25 million contract with the Texans in March after playing his first three seasons with the Denver Broncos. He rushed for at least 1,000 yards in two of those campaigns.

He has been used sparingly by Houston this season, carrying the ball 50 times for 130 yards
