The Memphis Grizzlies hope overall regular-season success transitions into postseason wins when they open a Western Conference first-round playoff series at home Saturday afternoon against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The West's second and seventh seeds, respectively, split their four-game seasonseries. But just because they are the higher seed in the series doesn't make the Grizzlies a heavy favorite.
