Report: Spurs, Keldon Johnson agree to $80M extension

San Antonio Spurs forward Keldon Johnson apparently is ready to cash in on his breakout season.

Johnson and the Spurs agreed to a four-year, $80 million contract extension, according to a report by The Athletic on Friday evening.

In his third season out of the University of Kentucky, Johnson averaged career highs of 17.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 2021-22. He shot 39.8 percent from 3-point range while playi
