Twins turn to Aaron Sanchez in effort to sweep Giants

For the Minnesota Twins, a theme of their run production this weekend is timing.

On Friday, the Twins scored early by getting eight of their nine runs in the first three innings of a 9-0 win over the San Francisco Giants. A night later, Minnesota scored its three runs in the final two innings ofa 3-2, 10-inning victory.
