Broncos QB Russell Wilson out, Brett Rypien to start vs. Jets

Denver Broncos quarterback Brett Rypien will start against the New York Jets on Sunday with Russell Wilson ruled out due to a hamstring injury.

Wilson was considered a game-time decision and "did everything he could to play" against the visiting Jets, but head coach Nathaniel Hackett opted to give the nine-time Pro Bowler more time to heal in hopes of avoiding a lingering injury.

Wilson, 33, was limited in practice for
