Tyler Adams voted U.S. Soccer Male Player of the Year

Tyler Adams is the 2022 U.S. Soccer Male Player of the Year.

A finalist for the award in 2018 and 2020, Adams was the overwhelming choice after captaining the United States men's national team at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The 23-year-old midfielder received 71.6 percent of the votes, followed by winger Christian Pulisic with 14.7 percent and goalkeeper Matt Turner with 8.2 percent.
