India Open 2023: PV Sindhu makes shock first-round exit, loses to Thailand's Supanida Katethong

New Delhi [India], January 17 (ANI): Olympic medalist PV Sindhu made a shocking first-round exit from the ongoing India Open 2023, losing to Thailand's Supanida Katethong in Delhi on Tuesday.

Sindhu lost the match 21-14, 22-20. In the first game, Sindhu tried to put up a fight but fell way short. The second game was closer, but the Indian lost that as well to make an exit from the tournament.
