Storm to retire Sue Bird's No. 10 jersey on June 11

The Seattle Storm will retire four-time WNBA champion Sue Bird's No. 10 jersey on June 11.

Bird, who hung up her jersey after her 19th season in 2022, will be honored during a game against the visiting Washington Mystics at Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena.

The Storm made the announcement Thursday.

Bird, 42, was a 13-time WNBA All-Star and a member of the league's 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th anniversary teams.
