Stallions, ex-NFL pass rusher Jessie Lemonier dies

Birmingham Stallions and former NFL defensive end Jessie Lemonier died at age 25, the Detroit Lions confirmed Thursday.

Lemonier played in seven games (two starts) for the Lions during the 2021 season and recorded a sack of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the regular-season finale in January 2022.

Lemonier was from Hialeah, Fla., and is the younger brother of former Auburn and San Francisco 49ers lineback
