Nets coach Jacque Vaughn signs multi-year extension

The Brooklyn Nets and head coach Jacque Vaughn agreed to a multi-year contract extension Tuesday.

Vaughn became the acting head coach on Nov. 1 after Steve Nash was fired following a 2-5 start. Vaughn took over as the full-time coach on Nov. 9.

"Jacque has made an immediate and immeasurable impact on our entire organization since assuming the role of head coach earlier this season," said Nets general manager Sean Marks.
