Timbers sign G Aljaz Ivacic to extension through 2025

The Portland Timbers signed goalkeeper Aljaz Ivacic to an extension through 2025 with a club option for the 2026 season.

Ivacic went 11-10-11 with six shutouts last season in 32 matches as Portland's main goalkeeper. The Slovenian tied for the MLS lead with 112 saves.

"I'm extremely excited that Aljaz has signed a contract extension with the club. He has worked hard to earn his position within the team," Timbers coach G
