Talleres shock River Plate in Argentine Primera Division
BUENOS AIRES, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Rodrigo Garro scored twice in 10 second-half minutes as Talleres Cordoba recorded a shock 2-1 home victory over leaders River Plate in Argentina's Primera Division on Sunday.
Garro broke the deadlock with a 63rd-minute strike and he doubled the advantage by curling a long-range effort into the top-right corner.
Matias Suarez reduced the deficit by heading home 11 minutes f
