Kenya to play Qatar, South Sudan for 2026 World Cup qualifiers preparation

NAIROBI, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Kenya will prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with two friendlies in the coming days - away to Qatar and home to South Sudan.

The Harambee Stars began their preparations in Nairobi on Sunday, with nine out of the 10 local-based players called up by head coach Engin Firat reporting to the camp.

The team is set to depart on Wednesday for Qatar, before returning home
