Michigan State brings momentum into date with Richmond

Michigan State got better as its season opener unfolded last week. The Spartans will look to carry that momentum into their home game against Richmond on Saturday.
The Spartans (1-0) didn't score a touchdown against Central Michigan until the final minute of the first half on Friday, then outscored the Chippewas 21-0 in the second half en route to a 31-7 victory.
