Rays place 2B Brandon Lowe, RHP Jason Adam on IL

The Tampa Bay Rays placed second baseman Brandon Lowe on the 10-day injured list with a right patella fracture on Saturday and selected outfielder Raimel Tapia to the roster.
The Rays also placed right-handed reliever Jason Adam on the 15-day IL with a left oblique strain and recalled fellow right-hander Chris Devenski from Triple-A Durham.
The move for Lowe is retroactive
