Report: Mets RHP Adam Ottavino declines option

New York Mets right-hander Adam Ottavino is declining his $6.75 million option to become a free agent, the New York Post reported Monday.
Ottavino, who turns 38 on Nov. 22, finished 1-7 with a 3.21 ERA and 12 saves in 66 relief appearances in 2023.
He is 39-41 with a 3.42 ERA and 45 saves in 664 games (three starts) with the St. Louis Cardinals (2010), Colorado Rockies (2012-
