Seahawks sign QB Brett Rypien to practice squad

The Seattle Seahawks signed quarterback Brett Rypien to their practice squad on Friday.
Rypien started for the injured Matthew Stafford during the Los Angeles Rams' 20-3 setback to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. The Rams promptly waived Rypien two days later, a move that allowed the Seahawks (5-3) to pick up the Spokane (Wash.) native ahead of t
