Dodgers welcome back RF Jason Heyward with 1-year deal

Right fielder Jason Heyward signed a one-year contract worth $9 million with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old free agent enjoyed a bounce-back season in 2023, batting .269 with 15 homers and 40 RBIs in 124 games in his first campaign with Los Angeles.
Heyward is a career .258 hitter with 174 homers and 681 RBIs in 1,703 games with the Atlanta Braves (2010
