Mavs C Dereck Lively II to have season-ending foot surgery

Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II will undergo season-ending surgery on his right foot, the team announced Wednesday.

Per the Mavericks, Lively is expected to make a full recovery and be available for the start of training camp for the 2026-27 season.

The 7-foot-1 Lively was bothered by the same foot last season when he was limited to 36 games and under
