Stored munitions explode at Cambodian army base killing 20 soldiers

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia: An explosion of stored munitions at an army base in Kompong Speu province, southwestern Cambodia, over the weekend killed 20 soldiers and wounded several others, as well as damaged nearby houses.

There has been no public explanation of what caused the explosion, but there were no suggestions that it was deliberately triggered.
