GST rate cuts, income tax relief to have multiplier effect on GDP numbers: CEA Nageswaran

New Delhi [India] September 22 (ANI): India's Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) V Anantha Nageswaran on Monday said that the recently implemented GST 2.0 reforms, coupled with income tax relief announced in the Union Budget, will have a multiplier effect on the economy, pushing FY26 growth towards the upper end of the 6.3 to 6.8 per cent range.
