Bulgaria seizes nearly 740 kg of marijuana

SOFIA, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- Bulgarian authorities have seized 739.21 kg of marijuana worth 7.07 million U.S. dollars at the Kapitan Andreevo checkpoint on the country's border with Trkiye, the National Customs Agency (NCA) said on Thursday.

The illicit drug was discovered on Tuesday in a vehicle with Polish registration, transporting vacuum cleaners from Poland and Bulgaria to Trkiye, the NCA said.
