IMF raises Trkiye's growth forecast to 4.2 pct for 2026

ANKARA, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) revised on Monday Trkiye's growth rate forecast to 4.2 percent for 2026 and 4.1 percent for 2027, according to an update to its World Economic Outlook.

In its October forecast last year, the IMF had predicted that Trkiye's economy would grow by 3.7 percent this year and next.
