Sharjah Ruler: Khorfakkan to become city surrounded by forests

SHARJAH, 16th February, 2026 (WAM) -- His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, revealed an ongoing plan to turn the city of Khorfakkan into a city surrounded by forests of trees, characterised by high oxygen levels, low carbon dioxide, and increased positive electrons, which will give residents comfort and tranquillity.
